Getting Paid?

So OK all you guys out in blog land you know that I work for a big company so here goes.. I asked for this past Friday off to get some stuff done. I had signed papers to refinance the house on Wednesday and a lot of stuff happened and the lawyer that was with me to sign the papers, even asked if I wanted to continue..(The final monthly payment was more than what I was quoted)I said yes, with trepidation, I signed he said that leaglealy that I had 3 days to cancel. Well folks on Friday I canceled I will be looking into refinancing with the VA. I already have a VA loan and I will be refinancing with the VA. It is a streamline interest rate reduction program. I have done it before and it was relatively easy to do. So I took Friday off to take care of business...before the end of the day I called work to find out if I would be paid for the day and I was told so far I had not filled out the paperwork needed to be paid...Well guess what I did I went right over and filled the paperwork out to hopefully get paid...When I talked to the Personal manager, she said that I would get paid IF the store manager ok'd it. It is totaly up to him weather I get paid or not..never mind the fact I really need the money or that I have vacation time that I could take that is due me or personal days too....I'm kinda afraid to ask if I will get paid because I'm not sure that I can take another letdown right now. I find it real funny that weather I get paid for Friday is up to the whim of the store manager...(Hope he decides to like me today) I get the inpression that he has his favorites and I not really sure where I fit in.
