Wish me luck

I have been trying to get a decent paying job for a while...Well I applied for a pretty good job. I will not get into the details but I will be answering phones and working on a computer. The job in about a half hour drive but if it works out maybe I should sell this house and look for a place to live that is closer but I don't want to move too fast.
When Rachel found out where the job was, the first thing out of her mouth was "sell your house and move closer to the job" I said that it was not a sure thing yet and that I should settle into the job and see if it works out...I don't think that she had anything to say after I said that (that is a first for her). I have been thinking of moving anyway....this house is too much for me....too big and I don't like the floor plan, I am always going up or down stairs for one thing or another. I have only one bathroom and it is upstairs...the laundry is downstairs..I would like to have the laundry on the first floor or only one floor living maybe a ranch....just keeping my options open
